Celebrating the USA Triathlon Women’s Series: Results of the Title 9 & Mooloolaba Triathlons
The USA Triathlon Women’s Triathlon Series is a platform for female athletes of all levels to come together and celebrate the multisport community. This year, the series features the Title 9 Women’s Triathlon in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and the Mooloolaba Triathlon – Open Standard Women’s Race.
Recently, the team triathlon results were released with each participant's place, name, age, town, swim, bike, run, and total time (not including transition times) listed.[0] In first place was Simon Pratico, a 16-year-old from Falmouth, with a total time of 1:10:00.4.[0] Emily Carrigan, a 37-year-old from Camden, came in second with a total time of 1:19:23.8. Taylor Gartley, a 25-year-old from Cambridge, Massachusetts, placed third with a total time of 1:21:47.1.
The individual triathlon results were also released, with Scott Layton, a 40-year-old from Rockport, taking first place with a total time of 1:02:29.6. Kyle Wood, a 16-year-old from Lincolnville, came in second with a total time of 1:05:39.9 and Revas Boukia, a 29-year-old from Bangor, placing third with a total time of 1:07:02.1.
For those interested in participating in a triathlon, there are several training camps available. Full distance, middle distance, and sprint distance camps are available to athletes of all levels.
